ScreenTest.run provides browser-based tools that allow users to test their screens for defects, measure refresh rates, and check for backlight bleeding. These Services are provided for personal, non-commercial, and informational use only.

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services.

Service Modifications: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time.

2. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms. You specifically agree not to:

  • Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Services for any purpose without our express written permission.

ScreenTest.run makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of the tests. The results provided by our tools (such as Hz value or Dead Pixel detection) depend on your hardware, browser, and operating system configuration. We do not guarantee that the results are 100% accurate for professional calibration purposes.

We are not responsible for any damage to your hardware that may occur while using the site, including but not limited to screen burn-in from leaving static images on for extended periods (though this is rare with modern displays).

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SCREENTEST.RUN BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.
